The founder, Melody, was born into a stationery family. Her father started his career in stationery, and she witnessed the entire journey of how he grew from running a small workshop into building a factory.
Growing up surrounded by this environment, Melody developed an entrepreneurial dream of her own. Her father’s many failures before finally achieving success taught her an invaluable lesson: as long as you have a clear goal, never fear failure—stay focused and determined, and you will always reap rewards in the end.
As she grew up, that seed of entrepreneurship in Melody’s heart began to take root.
Through ten years of hands-on experience in the factory, she continuously gained knowledge and maturity.
Now, she is ready to create a stationery brand designed especially for girls, with warmth and individuality—Lalumi, meaning “a gentle light.”
Melody believes girls should never be narrowly defined. A girl can be cute, humorous, fragile, gentle, strong, fashionable, neutral, or cool.
She can also embody many colors—pink, blue, black, green, red, and beyond. With Lalumi, Melody wants to bring fun, creative, and diverse stationery to every girl, ensuring they can always find something that feels uniquely theirs. She also understands that in today’s fast-paced digital era, traditional stationery is slowly fading.
Yet, she firmly believes that handwriting still carries warmth and emotion. That is why she continues to design notebooks, pens, pouches, and other stationery products—to preserve the human touch in every written word. At the same time, Melody hopes to integrate the works of talented artists and elements of traditional culture into Lalumi’s product designs, redefining stationery with innovation and fresh perspectives.
Stay trendy, stay stylish — Lalumi.
